Technical Specification

To calculate the quantity of Thermoplan you will require please use the following formula:

Estimate the average thickness of levelling compound you require, this must be a minimum of 8mm if using underfloor heating and otherwise 5mm. The maximum thickness is 50mm.

Once you have calculated the average thickness you would like multiply this number by 1.6. Multiply the result by the number of square metres you wish to cover and this will give you the total amount of levelling compound you require. Thermoplan is supplied in bags of 25kg and a pallet of Thermoplan consists of 40 bags.

For instance, if you required a thickness of 20mm to cover 30 square metres the sum would be as follows. 20 multiplied by 1.6 multiplied by 30 equals 960 kilos of compound which is 38.4 bags.

Mira Thermoplan is only available direct from Heat Mat in full pallet quantities (40 bags).

On orders of four or more pallets for delivery on the UK Mainland there will be no delivery charge. For deliveries of one to three pallets there is a £50 delivery charge. For delivery charges outside of the UK Mainland please contact us. We can usually supply next working day delivery if orders are placed by midday.

If you require less than one pallet of Thermoplan please contact us and we will provide you with details of your nearest supplier.
